AN ‘OFF-THE-SHELF’ AFO WITH ‘CUSTOM-MADE’ FUNCTIONALITY

The Step-On Family of products is a range of innovative ankle-foot-orthoses (AFOs) for the treatment of drop foot. The unique feature of these AFOs is that they are articulated and offer adjustable dorsiflexion assistance, while being off-the-shelf products. This way, they allow essential functional movements during the gait cycle, while at the same time providing the exact amount of control required by each patient, at every stage of their rehabilitation programme.

Simple strap
with hook-and-loop strip

Simple strap with hook-and-loop strip allows fastening the orthosis to the calf with just one hand.

INFO 03
Valgus
deformities

The patented strap system of the STEP-ON 200 is simple, yet very effective in controlling valgus deformities.

INFO 04
Varus
deformities

The patented strap system of the STEP-ON 200 is simple, yet very effective in controlling varus deformities.

INFO 05
Adjustable dorsiflexion assistance

The unique feature of adjustable dorsiflexion assistance allows optimisation of gait biomechanics.

INFO 06
Modular

The orthosis is modular, allowing maintenance or replacement of individual parts.

INFO 07
Fitting in shoes

The sole plate of the AFO covers 3 ⁄ 4 of the sole of the shoe, so that it may fit easily, even in standard shoes.
